This page explains the most important risks of the treatments offered through Vireon Health. It's general information, not medical advice, and does not replace your medication label or your provider's instructions. In an emergency, call 911.
Before you start, tell your provider about
Every prescription and over-the-counter medicine and supplement you take, any allergies, recent or planned surgery, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and your full personal and family medical history.
Weight care (compounded GLP-1 class injections)
Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and have not been evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. They are not generic versions of any brand-name product. Do not use if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid cancer or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 2 (MEN2); medicines in this class caused thyroid tumors in animal studies. Possible serious risks: pancreatitis, gallbladder problems, low blood sugar (higher with insulin or sulfonylureas), kidney problems from dehydration, and allergic reactions. Not for use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell any surgeon or anaesthetist you use this medicine. Common side effects: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain and tiredness.
Men's vitality (FDA-approved oral tablets)
Never take with nitrate medicines for chest pain or a heart condition, or with "poppers". This can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Tell your provider about heart problems, stroke, low or high blood pressure, or certain blood-pressure and prostate medicines. Get emergency help for chest pain, an erection lasting more than 4 hours, or sudden loss of vision or hearing. Common side effects: headache, flushing, indigestion, stuffy nose and back pain.
Men's hair add-on (FDA-approved tablet)
Possible side effects include lower sex drive, erection or ejaculation problems, breast tenderness or enlargement, and mood changes including depression. Women who are or may become pregnant should not handle broken or crushed tablets.
Her vitality hormone tablet (FDA-approved hormone therapy)
Hormone therapy may increase the risk of stroke, blood clots, heart attack, breast cancer and dementia. If you have a uterus, estrogen-only therapy increases the risk of endometrial cancer, so your provider may add another medicine. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed. Do not use if you have had breast cancer, a blood clot, stroke, heart attack, liver disease or unexplained vaginal bleeding, or if you are pregnant.
Her vitality hair support (compounded capsule)
Compounded and not FDA-approved. Not for use in pregnancy, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. It can lower blood pressure and raise potassium; tell your provider about kidney problems and blood-pressure or potassium medicines. Possible side effects: dizziness, fast heartbeat, swelling, unwanted hair growth and period changes.
Who should not use Vireon Health
